Art Corps: Volunteers

Volunteers Needed to Teach Art Corps!

ART CORPS is a developmental art program, which teaches children the fundamentals of art. With easy-to-teach lesson plans and art workshops, you can bring this program to your child’s classroom. Visit the ART CORPS website at www.artcorpssd.com for more information.

Over the course of the school year, 8 lessons are taught. Some lessons require two sessions to complete. You do not need a teaching or art background! Lessons and manuals are provided. Volunteers need to plan for approximately 10 art lessons that last 1-2 hours. You will also need to attend 8 hour long workshops where you will learn how to teach these lessons. You can share these obligations with the other ART CORPS volunteers in your child’s class.
